Nursery Progress-Sneak Peak

The week after Christmas, Josh had 10 days off work so we all got to work on the nursery for our little girl. Prior to getting pregnant this was our guest room so it had blue walls and a queen size bed...sooo obviously a lot had to change! Josh decided to take the challenge of putting up bead board in the little girls room...it turned out awesome!! Our good friend, Rich taught Josh how to bead board and just a few short hours later, he was a pro! Owen also got a lesson as you can see in the pics....I can see a future handyman in him:) My biggest problem was what colors to paint the walls and bead board...pinks are hard people:) So as you can see from my color board in the pictures below I tried out about 6 sample cans of paint before we came to a decision...and fortunatly I LOVED how the color turned out! Later in the week, my dad-the expert painter came over to help Josh and Owen paint the room. Owen has been so excited all week to be in her room....he LOVES tools, paint, etc. so you can imagine this week was a lot of fun for him:) Now I can hardly wait to put everything else together!
