The weekend of August 8th we went up to Lake Geroge to Josh's aunt and uncle's amazing lake house that we go to every summer. While there we were able to celebrate Kate's first birthday. (Josh's cousins baby girl) It was a wonderful time and fun to see Owen, Lilly, Maddie, and Kate all interact over the weekend. We spent time boating, swimming, shopping at the outlets, eatting, watching the Olympics, and sleeping in. (Thanks to Mimi getting up with Owen in the morning!) Unfortunatly, the second night ended in us driving home at 1am.....Owen did NOT want to sleep. He rarely sleeps in a pack-n-play and that night he wanted nothing to do with it. He is a wonderful sleeper at home but didnt want anything to do with sleeping there. He successfully woke another baby and was on the verge of waking the other two so we packed up and headed home at 1am after trying everything to get him to sleep...somethings just happen! We did enjoy the trip despite that one struggle.
