Every year our church holds an amazing outreach event on the lawn called "Hillfest". It is a huge outdoor carnival complete with tons of free carnival food, games, and rides. Owen loves the pony rides, hay rides, bounce houses, as well as all the yummy food! Again this year, Josh's brothers family joined us for the fun so Owen got to enjoy it all with his cousins.
In the morning, before the event my dad runs in the 5K every year with one of his grandkids! He has done this every year since his first grandkid was born 5 years ago. Kai and Owen were born so close together that he had to use a double jogger to run with them both. They also were lucky to be able to go again this year...they got to do it last year to. Avery was here this year by September but at only 9 weeks she was still a little to young..she will do the double next year with our new baby girl! I think it is an AWESOME tradition and something so fun my dad does with the kids! Here are our pics from the morning run and afternoon fun from September 7th!
