Summer swim lessons with Owen

In mid-June, Owen took private swimming lessons for a week at our neighborhood pool! It was so much fun to watch my little fish learning to swim. I was always in the pool with Owen so I could learn what to work on with him this summer. It was very informative! Owen truly does love the water....he enjoyed most of his swim lessons. There were some things he didnt enjoy as much such as kicking on his back but for the most part he was a little fish! We worked on going under the water properly (so no water gets in the nose), big arms for swimming, floating on his back, swimming to the steps-reaching for the pool edge, and jumping into the pool. Next year Owen will be in her class at our neighborhood pool with other kids...fun fun!!
