As I said in a previous post on Josh and I's anniversary I truly believe Owen has the most amazing daddy in Josh. It melts my heart everyday to see Owen and Josh playing chase together (Owen's favorite game..but only played with Daddy), snuggling together on the couch, and Josh tucking Owen in at night to the song "Jesus loves me" that he sings in his ear! Owen loves his dad just as much as his daddy loves him....everyday when Owen wakes up he says, "Daddy?" as if asking if this is the weekend and Daddy is home or is Daddy at work. Each day around 6pm when Owen hears the garage door open he runs to the door and excitedly yells, "Daddy Daddy"! It is too cute!
Well, in an effort to be like Daddy one day and show Daddy how much we love him on Father's Day I dressed up Owen like Daddy and took some photos in advance. I did this for two reasons, 1.) so every year I can take Owen's picture on Father's Day in the same shirt of his Daddy's so we can see how he has grown...he is 19.5 months here and 2.) we printed a photo of Owen like this and had the words.. "Someday Daddy I want to be JUST LIKE YOU" printed at the bottom with the date for Josh for Father's Day and framed it. Here are some of my favorite photos of my little guy being like his amazing daddy! We love you Josh!

So did you and your sister blog together today or what? Seriously though, love these pictures! You have such great ideas for family memories and traditions! I might have to try this one with Drew in another year.
Somehow I don't think I'll be able to try this with Lou's shirts... The poor kid might never fit. So cute though.
