38.5 Week Doctor's Apt. Update

Yesterday, I went to the Doctor to find out I am still only 1cm dilated however I am now 75% effaced. We heard our little son's heartbeat as we always do and it was pumping as loud as ever, what a beautiful noise. He is still relatively high, the doctor said he had dropped some but in my opinion he hasn't. I still feel the karate kicks to my ribs all the time and still feel he is very high. Unfortunatly, now I am having lower pains in my hip flexors because I think some body parts are in the way when I am sitting as he continues to grow. Other than that, still working, still waiting.....we will keep you posted. We go back to the doctor on Monday the 23rd next week when I will be 39 weeks and I will add an update then. Also included now is a picture of my growing belly from Saturday the 21st when I was 38 weeks and 5 days along!
