37.5 Week Doctors Apt. October 11

Just wanted to post an update from last Wednesday's doctor's appointment since we will be going back tomorrow already:
As of Wednesday October 11th, I am just over 1cm dilated and the baby still needs to drop a good amount. While I was there she went ahead and scheduled an inducment date for yes, October 31st- Halloween night at 7:30pm. She said they book up about 2 weeks in advance and she said although she is not even sure I will make it to my due date she wanted to go ahead and schedule it. She didnt want the 30th to come and her to try to schedule it and not be able to get me in until mid Nov. Sooooo, no matter what Josh and I will be parents in now 15 days or less. CRAZY!
I have been feeling pretty good, a bit more tired than normal but I think that comes from not sleeping great at night. I actually seem to sleep really good about every other night, I think from being exhausted from not sleeping good the night before. But it really hasnt been to bad. I havent felt much going on, an occasional contraction and some painful kicks in my tummy but thats it.
Josh and I are extremely excited and I think everytime now I call him, I let him down because I am not telling him I am in labor, or at least not so far, hopefully I will be soon. I am still working but I spend a majority of my time working out of the office in Frankfort or Indy and I am no longer driving all over to various appointments. Well thats the update, Josh and I are all ready. We are both packed and have packed for the little guy and have the phone list ready to go so we are set. I will post an update after our doctor's apt. tomorrow that is if she doesnt just send me directly to the hospital......wishful thinking!!!
