My baby is 9 MONTHS!!! Time if flying!

I can't believe that on July 24th Owen was 9 months old. He is growing up so fast and time is flying by. He hasnt decided to begin crawling yet and actually I think he may end up walking before he crawls but he does sit and does skoot on his bottom to get anywhere he wants to go. He tries very hard to pull up on things so it will only be a matter of time. He is saying "Da Da" and "Ba Ba'' for bottle whenever he sees up preparing one. He no longer likes baby food and prefers to just take a few bottles a day and eat adult food the rest of the time. Owen has tasted just about everything and right now really enjoys bananas, cheerios, granola bars, lunch meat, fruits, veggies, animal crackers, etc. We basically just feed him whatever we are having at meals which is very convienent and makes him happy.


As for sleeping, well he is doing ok at night still needs some work and awesome with naps. For those of you who dont know up until now the longest nap Owen had ever taken was for about 40 minutes but he mostly averaged about 20 minutes a day. Needless to say he was tired most of the day and so was mommy but miracuously after much trying, many prayers, and lots of tears from Owen he now takes wonderful 1.5-3 hour morning naps and then a decent afternoon nap....what a blessing a few hours of sleep from a baby can be for his mommy!


Well, time if flying and I cant beleieve soon my baby will be one year old. I dont even want to think about not being able to feed my baby a bottle. Fortunatly, for me he is very much still a snuggler. He loves to cuddle with his parents and I LOVE that!


Well, thats the life of Owen Medley in short at the young age of 9 months old! Here is a picture of our little blonde headed boy, Owen that I took at 9 months, so grown up!
