WOW I cannot believe my baby is ONE!! On Owen's first birthday he started the day out with a special treat (and one of mommy's favorites).........a powdered sugar donut. Boy, did he LOVE it?! He ate the whole things in seconds and then did his sign language for "more"!
Later than evening, Owen celebrated with his grandma and grandpa (my parents) and mimi (Josh's mom) as well as Aunt Kelly, Uncle Matt, and cousins Macy, Makenna and Kai and of course mommy and daddy. We had dinner at grandma and grandpas and then followed it up with a birthday cupcake (white cake with white icing). Owen was actually very unsure at first with his cupcake and once mommy broke off a bite for him and he tasted it, he went to town on the rest of it.
Owen wasnt to into opening his gifts so the couins were very eager to help. Makenna and Kai were helping Owen open his new vacuum in the picture below. Yes, mommy and daddy got him a vacuum because he loves our vacuum at our house. He just watches me while I vacuum the entire house, so I thought we would get him one of his own so he can help:)
